Although my shipments have had a history of being very well packed, They go above and beyond with packaging. Sadly looked crushed I didn't worry about it until I opened the box and 1 cube was missing.

Not just for Pastina! They are a great can of chicken broth substitute for making chicken stews too! They are so much less bulky than keeping cans around and have much more flavor!

I have actually bought these dadi in Italy to bring home but due to quarantine we haven't been back. I have tried so many different bullion cubes from the US but I can't find one that compares to this one. I have even looked in other Italian grocery stores on Long Island and haven't found them. They remind me of my nonna's pastina. It is the best one I've found that tastes like homemade broth. I've tried other ones from Italy too, and this one is still my favorite. I ordered a couple boxes so I wouldn't run out. My son also loves it and he's pretty picky.

I am so glad the Dadi are back in stock, I was down to my last cube! These bouillon cubes are so delicious, you can't find any in the US that are this tasty. It tastes like a homemade broth and saves so much time. I decided to buy two boxes so I would never run out again. I love them when making peas in poached eggs and pastina. They are so easy to use, my 12 year old daughter can now make the pastina herself, which is great during pandemic when the kids are home from school and want a hot meal they can do themselves. I am also looking for the Star Porcini mushroom flavor, I would definitely buy it if you decided to stock that one in La Bottega. A+

I am SO HAPPY to finally find Star Dado. There is no other flavor like it. It instantly brought me back to my childhood! It is exactly what my pastina was missing.

I would have given this 5 stars if it did not have so much salt. Must dilute with lots of water.
Sorry to see it is sold out as would like to order again.
