Pistachio Cream - I Siciliani

OMG, this is the best pistachio cream and it goes on so smoothly. I've been enjoying it on toast. Looking to make some bite-size pistachio balls. It is pricey for a small jar but so well worth it.

It tastes amazing, but the price you pay fit suck a small jar is insane.

I received the jar and opened it a few days after arrival. The creamy pistacchio flavor lit up my taste buds and am I ever glad I bought it; purchased 2 more jars. I plan to make a crostata with the filling, just like I tasted in Firenze in May this year; the best crostata ever made!! I highly recommend this filling.

As soon as my order arrived I couldn't wait to taste the pistachio cream. And it did not disappoint. Let me tell you...right out of the jar, it is delicious, silky smooth with rich flavor. No aftertaste just. I choose to use it to make a pistachio filling for my cannolis. They turned out amazing. So glad I ordered 2 jars. Second jar is earmarked for use to make pistachio gelato. Will definitely be ordering more!

I couldn't find a pistachio spread anywhere in my local stores - even in the Italian ones. When I found it on the Bottega della Nonna site I was so happy! It is delicious on bread or, on a bad day, straight from the jar!
