Muffuletta - Mediterranean Olive Salad - Mild

Didn't have much time for a big meal, so I took out a few thinly sliced pork chops and made a scallopini sauce using garlic powder, black pepper, flour then lightly fried the slices in olive oil, added in thinly sliced mushrooms, a little white wine, a little vegetable broth, some fresh parsley, simmered for a few minutes then added 2 tablespoons of the mild muffaletta, wow, it was a great flavor enhancer. Placed the slices of pork on top of the risotto and poured the sauce over it....our best meal this week!... For a dish with a little attitude, try it, you won't be sorry :) & Of course serve it with some fresh toasted Italian bread and a spoonful of the muffaletta on top 😉

This is the best brand of muffuletta I’ve ever tried. I have recently used it in cold pasta salad and it’s delicious!
