My mom was born in La Marina Di Pietrasanta in Tuscany. She was a war bride, coming to America in 1947. With her she brought many recipes that as children we
craved, when other kids were eating peanut butter and jelly, we would have componata on a hunk of crusty italian bread or just by the fork full. This eggplant componata was so good it taht I am sure it would have even pleased my mom, and she was extremely critical of anything she didn't make herself! Grazie, for stirring up such fond memories!

I've always enjoyed Caponata, but since I moved away from my Italian friends in New Orleans, have not had any that was worth the time to taste it. This Sicilian Caponata has been a real treat and a return to what I remember caponata should taste like. The eggplant is simply wonderful and the other vegetables and spices and oil are a perfect blend. I got this for my wife and myself, but she never got a chance to taste it, as my spoon made it into the bottle over a three day period (only because I rationed it out..slowly) and she will now have to wait for the second bottle! Very fast shipping and delivery and super well packed!

this is the best one I have ever tasted that was bought and not home made. It have such a delicious taste ,one taste and you want more. I have another order started and my daughter asked me to make sure I ordered her a jar as well. Another great product.

OMG OMG OMG ILOVE THIS. I grew up on this Eggplant Caponata. But could not find it in stores anymore. When I saw this I ordered it right away. Well when it came I right away opened the jar and had a few spoon fulls. LITERALLY TEARS CAME TO MY EYES. What flavor it has. It brought me back memories to me.AGain THANK YOU NONNA. I will be ordering more jars.

My family has long loved caponata and this is beyond anything we’ve made. Love it with crackers, on chicken, in a sandwich. Anywhere!

IT HAS A WONDERFUL FLAVOR & IS WELL BALANCED WITH ALL THE INGREDIENTS BLENDING TOGETHER.
YOU CAN SERVE IT ON FRESH ITALIAN BREAD & IT IS SIMPLY AMAZING.
I SERVED IT ON TOP OF FRIED POLENTA & IT WAS OUTSTANDING. I COULD EAT

I finally found Caponata that I love! There was a restaurant in York, Maine that served Caponata just like this. Unfortunately, they went out of business. This tastes exactly like the restaurant's. Thank you so much for carrying this. I've already ordered more so I NEVER run out.
