Fileja di Tropea Calabresi

Fileja di Tropea is a very typical Calabrian pasta that originates in the beautiful beach town of Tropea. This pasta actually has different names in different parts of Calabria. However, traditionally, it's made by wrapping a strip of  pasta dough around a ferretto (a thin metal rod) or around a thin wooden stick.

Delicious!

Combined with homemade sauce made from the Calabrian Passata, and topped with Pecorino Romano, I could eat the entire bag and still go for seconds. Just DELICIOUS, fresh home-made taste. LOVE THEM! THANK YOU!
