Pastina - Tiny Little Stars - Barilla

Pastina always brings me back to my childhood. My mom would make it for me when I was sick and I carry on that tradition for myself and family. Sadly now that I'm living in Texas it is impossible to find pastina in a grocery store. Thank you La Bottega della Nonna for carrying this.

I love this pastina. Whether I’m sick or well, whether it’s 50 degrees or 90, patina soup is the best the little stars are perfect. I’m expecting my first great grandaughter and as soon as she is old enough she will be enjoying pastina too.

Haven’t been able to find pastina in the store shelves so ordered here and was so thrilled with the care in packaging! I’ve ordered elsewhere previously and the boxes were not packed carefully and there was spillage. These came very carefully wrapped!! Thank you!! Now I have pastina for my grandson (and me 😃)!

I have yet to cook my pastina , but the amount of care and cushion that it was shipped with was amazing . I usually use pastina when I am under the weather or if I need comfort food to remind me of my mom.

I ordered several boxes and as I unwrapped the bubble wrap one of the boxes spilled everything onto the floor. It had clearly broken open some time ago.

We love this tiny pasta for so many reasons. It is great in broth or on it's own with an egg drizzled in. It is the Italian version of fast food.
