Cavatelli Caserecci

I made Cavatelli with Arugula and Ricotta Salaza with Nonna’s Cavatelli and it was DELICIOUS! I purchased a few bags because I love making pasta dishes using a variety of pasta shapes (even though non-Italian hubby prefers linguine with everything)! This particular recipe is super and more so using authentic pasta!

I love using this for my soups, pasta dishes and with veggies. Has a great texture and body and I love making them with broccoli rabe too!

I have been buying cavatelli pasta for 50 years both frozen and packaged and this pasta comes closest to being homemade. Love it!!

I took advantage of sale and stocked up. Reminds of my childhood Sunday dinners.

Very hard in my area to find good Italian macaroni so I am very pleased with the products I purchased. The cookbooks are fantastic. The stories before each chapter show the love of your Nonna for her family and yourself.

Cavatelli is my favorite pasta that I grew up eating. These definitely passed the test and did not disappoint. Will definitely be buying them again in the future.

I've bought many different brands of pasta from Cooking with Nonna and I'm never disappointed. La Pasta Della Nonna tastes great.

Made 10 pounds of these cavatelli for a party - some with broccoli and some with regular sauce. They all disappeared and were not mushy!! Plus the price is excellent! Cinque stelle!

Incredible pasta

These were so good! They brought me back to the days when we had them handmade by my aunt at Nonna's house. My cousin and I, just kids, had the job of bringing them by the plateful and spreading them on clean towels for drying before they would be cooked. The end product was so delicious and these cavatelli taste just like them.
I do agree with another reviewer who suggested cooking them longer than the 13 minutes as said on the bag.
Otherwise, five stars!

Watched my grandmother make her cavatelli,for the first forty years of my life.....they were five star. These were the closest I have found on the market,small cavatelli,just like hers....and I enjoyed them immensely....but a four star product. Only criticism,cook them a few minutes longer,then the package recommends.

I just re-ordered the Cavatelli Caserecci. This is the best I’ve found since I was a kid and had it homemade by MY Nonna! I’m going to try some of the others at the Bottega, and I’m sure I’ll love them, too!!

This is okay if you can't get the frozen. I cooked it just as instructed and some came out right and the other pieces were tough. Hopefully it will be better tomorrow!

I absolutely LOVE the cavatelli! It is so nice to be able to get cavatelli that isn’t frozen! I also live in a rural area and finding cavatelli is really difficult. Now I don’t have to search!

I will be buying this again, it was delicious.
