Calabrian Freselle

A staple in Nonna’s kitchen since she was a little girl, these Calabrian freselle make an easy Italian snack or light meal.

Drizzle them with water, then top with fresh tomatoes, oregano, salt, and good extra virgin olive oil. You can also add your favorite toppings and make them your own.

  • 12 medium freselle, approximately 4 inches wide each
  • Made with durum wheat
  • Weight: 400 g (14.1 oz)
  • Product of Calabria, Italy

Because freselle are delicate, some breakage may occur during shipping.

Really enjoyed these Freselle, softened them up with a little mix of white wine, water and red wine vinegar, then spread a spoonful of Muffaletta on top. Served as an appetizer to a barbecued meal today...yummiest 😋

Yummy!

I never had these Fresselles before. I love them. Ordered two packs and had to order 2 more. I am so addicted to everything Nonna sells!

A taste of home!

Ciao. We are from Puglia and we are so happy to have found these friselle here in the US. They are just like the ones we get at home.. Try them if you love Italian food.Dip in water. Add olive oil, tomatoes, oregano, fresh basil. The Cerignola olives sold here are a must. A typical summer evening meal when it’s too hot. Grazie Nina

Just like my nonnas

I was skeptical when buying because my nonna would make these and I felt like nothing would ever cone close. Well, I'm happy to say, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE. So glad I purchased them.

Crunchy for a nice bruschetta and used it in homemade chicken soup. Put the friselle at the bottom of the bowl and poured the hot broth over it. Delocious!!

Ate this all the time growing up in Italy. Added fresh tomatoes with a olive oil, garlic and seasonings.

Crspy & Tasty

I really liked the taste. I really liked the crunch. Ate them as is, like a snack. Well-enjoyed. Loved the toast aspect. Not too dark or too light.
