Bucatini by Riscossa from Puglia

Riscossa is the brand of pasta that Nonna Romana  sold in her Bottega in Italy starting in 1945.  Riscossa pasta is produced in Corato (about 20 miles away from our hometown Mola di Bari, Puglia) and is the brand of pasta that all Pugliesi love. I'm happy to continue Nonna Romana's tradition of making this pasta available in my Bottega.

Love all the pasta I’ve tried, but really like the bucatini. Very flavorful and versatile.

My favorite!

Bucatini is my absolute favorite, but other brands tried did not measure up. This certainly did not disappoint, was delicious, had the bite and chew to hold up to the hearty sauces I love to prepare in the winter. So glad I tried it, can’t wait to serve during the holidays.

Doesn’t come any better

I remember my nonna being very specific about what macaroni to use with certain sauces. I recently made a recipe calling for bucatini and I remembered my grandmother’s dish. I used this brand and I was transported back 65 + years. Bellissima. Perfect texture for the sauce.
