Partanna EVOO - A monovarietal oil, only made with 100% Nocellara del Belice olives from the province of Trapani in Sicily. We freshly cold press our olives within hours of picking to obtain our premium extra virgin olive oil. It’s bottled immediately after the harvest in mid-October in a dark tin to keep it fresh longer. The oil has a rich flavor profile, with notes of artichokes, almonds and a peppery finish. The Sicily olive oil has received awards for quality that ranked it as the best olive oil in the world.

Delicious, flavorful olive oil that is truly special!

This is a truly delicious, flavorful olive oil that we can't get where we live in rural southern West Virginia, and I can definitely recommend it! (Plus the can is Gorgeous!) One of the things I recently made with it was a scrumptious (and easy) pasta dish: agli olio (garlic and oil), with the addition of chopped clams, herbs, capers, hot pepper bits, and Calamata olives… YUM!

A true taste of Sicily

I visited Partanna, in western Sicily, several years ago and tasted a full bodied olive oil at a local shop. Loved it. When I returned home I was able to find the Partanna brand on Arthur Avenue. Now it is even easier for me to purchase this Sicilian delight at bottegadellenonna. Believe me the taste is wonderful.
