Hailing from the island of Sicily,  this young sheep’s milk cheese is littered with large pieces of black truffle shavings.

Piccolo Pecorino  Truffle has a smooth but bold, slightly rich flavor with a punch of strong, earthy truffle.  Because it is a younger cheese, Piccolo Truffle does not have the same sharpness to it as an aged pecorino and has a much creamier mouthfeel.  Get yourself some crispy taralli and a good glass of wine and enjoy cutting little slices and you have a snack made in heaven!
